Biography: Sith Lord Dissisdias

Dissisdias was originally born as Owasaqur Xawzawquamzzcajh was born on the Outer Rim World of Garzasamore, a world with little water and lots of mountains covered in pure ice.  As to be expected from such a world, life was difficult for its few inhabitants, and the level of technology never progressed to a high level. The world is ruled by a few powerful clans, each of whom have their own style of living and cult.  Dissisdias, living with the Oxyom Cult, was the first daughter of the Shaman Family, one of the most influential members who had the task of appeasing the wild Barjanak "Spirits".  However, the act of appeasing the Barjanak meant negotiating with the spirit.....on how many souls it needed in order to protect the family from other spirits.  The Shamans then, were a respected but shunned part of society; nearly every family at one point had lost a member due to the Shaman's dealings, but the Shaman's family never lost a member.

Dissisdias thus grew up to be a mostly isolated child, shunned by most of her race, a race that used its inherent six arms to do mainly physical labor.  Only her two sisters and mother bother to treat with anything but contempt; her mother, a stern teacher focused only on the clan's survival, her sisters treating her ravishingly with cute fanciful love, a false love created only because the sisters did not want to become the lead shaman and wanted their sister to do all their hard work.

When Dissisdias was young, she realized quickly that she had "powers".  While today she knows it to be of the force, back then she assumed it was but part of a rare skill set of shaman powers, something her grandmother had known....but not her mother.  These shaman powers allowed Dissidias the ability to move and read things with her mind.....she would hear the dreadful thoughts from the piercing eyes of the simple townsfolk, the bitter thoughts of her mother who wanted her daughter's power, the sisters condescending and hypocritical dialogue.  As a result, she remained an isolated child, doing only what was expected, and then sealing herself away, occasionally reading the legendary datapads from eons ago.

When she was 12, the Barjanak came again (he last came 14 years ago); luckily (or unluckily) Dissisdias's mother was gravely ill, leaving Dissisidias in charge of negotiations.  She expected a hideous creature of pure darkness to be in the other side; and what she expected was what she received.  The Barjanak were a very simple creature when it keep to these negotiations: acquire as many people as possible for all its many desires and needed pleasures.  For the truth was that outside their base, a long ago forgotten fort of the early republic, the race was weak in nearly every sense of the word.  The Barjanak were easily wounded, their bodies having evolved only for their delights, and they manipulated the clans for their own ends (even the rocks that the clans moved were done (via "mine collapses" and other deeds) to ensure that the best tasting minerals were left to the Barjanak).  She discovered all the various truths of the Barjanak in a moment, just by looking at the vile four armed tentacle legged being......and the Barjanak trader had no clue.

Thinking about the quandary for just a few moments, Dissisidas realized that the easiest and best solution would be to eliminate the Barjanak by having the Barjanak killed themselves; after all, they did nothing but bring worry and pain to everyone, and she would be called a hero of her race.  After convincing the trader to take her to their base, she killed the trader (via strangulation), hid herself in the darkest of shadows, and then over a period of a month slowly tricked all the Barjanak until they had kill themselves in a massive civil war.  Thousands laid dead at the triumphant Dissisidas, who emerged, starving, back to her people.  When she told her clan the news though, they reacted not in glee but in utter shock.  She had committed the ultimate of sins, the one of ruining the balance of the world.  All the relationships her race had ever known were destroyed, in their eyes, by a single brat.  Her mother and sisters disowned her, their livelihoods ruined, and Dissisidas was kicked out of town.  Not wanting to test surviving by herself, she burned a skin layer off, making her flesh red, and returned to town as Dissisidas, using her mind powers to either trick any who looked into her too carefully....or killed any who try to take advantage of her, including a sister.

When a Jedi crashed onto the planet, she helped him repair the ship using the fort's parts, then tricked him into thinking she was only 6 (the race just....grew fast); after a year of hiding herself with her all clan, she looked forward to a new world.  Quickly advancing through the Jedi Classes, she became a Jedi a few years later.  With her mind powers being complemented by the likes of Obi-Wan and Yoda, she quickly became one of the main Jedis used in "delicate" operations, such as stealth, infiltration of organizations, and interrogations.  However, her fellow Jedi always thought that, as the years went by, she grew fonder and fonder of using her powers, and was suspected of using them to help advance her goals; she never did become a Master despite having the pure ability to do so.

When the Clone Wars began, she originally was on the vanguard to capture the various leaders, and was told that this was her chance to prove herself and become a full-fledged master. Instead, she was captured in the first mission.  A talk with Count Dooku convinced her to join the Separatists, and she served admirably for the Confederation both in behind the scenes operations and in leading combat.  Prior to the assault on Coruscent to capture Palpatine though, she was kicked out of the separatists by Dooku himself; why he decided to kick her out and not eliminate her in a point of confusion to her.  In reality, it was because Dooku became convinced that she had used her mental powers to not do any work but just pretended to, that she was a spy all along.  While this was not true, Dissisdias decided to leave anyways; when Order 66 came, she was in an ideal position, or she thought.

Hiding in the various Outer Rim Worlds, she became a mercenary for many of the most vile scum; some she came to respect, others she would leave in a worse position, and others she would kill.  This, as you would imagine, made her many enemies, and a large bounty was placed in her head.  Eventually, on Tatooine, she was surrounded by numerous pirates, all of various species that one thing going for it -- they were almost impossible to manipulate mentally.  As she was about to be finished, Darth Chaos and Darth Morte, using Mr. Shadow's information, rescued her.  They soon recruited her into their small but growing cabal of the Sith, and she has remained with them since.
