Recap: Sith Camp Exeunt

Roklo and Lance enter the Lady Pirate Captain Yassa for a night of evening pleasures, and Lance did receive some from Helena, the 8 foot Amazon bodyguard, though he did not remember the exact details of the endeavor.  Roklo, after talking with Yassa and HK-35, the first mate assassin droid, had some discussions with nabanya, the 3 foot squirrel supply offier, and Matrine, a gunnery pirate.  Roklo, being the Etti gentlemen, did not make a move on the later collaspsed Matrine, though he was able to explore Yassa's pirate ship the Scarlet Scorpian.  He was caught during his explorings though, and killed a Gamorrean bodyguard.  Hounded by two axe weilding guards, he ran into Jack (formerly Jon, formerly Joe, formerly Arthur), and convinced Jack to help him.  Roklo (Rocky) was knocked out, but Jack spare the two guards.  He then received Ayla's aid in healing Roklo and the group all went to bed...

The next morning, Lance went into a hunting trip with Helena and Yassa, discussing the likely attacks by the Sith; Atty and Brucbacca continued to discuss the old Wookie Ways; Petro and Ayla discuss detailings about the dark side....along with the ability of pyrokenesis; and Jack met with Jacques, who offered to bring back Revan if he killed a Sith Lord.

That night, the Sith lock their camp, and announce they're going to attack earlier than expected.  At the same time, Chaos demands that the team gives up their tracking device to Argas Vicious ship; Atty, not having one, refuses, and is tossed....and a padawan is killed in her place.

Aria, along with the PC Jedi/Sith, are assigned under Grog Wahil.  Using Roklo's mouse droid and Lance's communicator, the two pirates discover that an attack is soon underway, informing Yassa, who begins prepartions to leave the ship.  Unknowingly to her, Inabanya has already betrayed the pirate lass, giving Lord Magnus the ability to destroy the ship's engine....at the cost of Inabanya's life. (idiot).  The Sith organize a well-round, planned and executed attack and the pirates are soon being attacked and killed left and right.  Atty helps fghts some pirates, and then is forced to fight some Sith padawans angry about the earlier killing of a padawan.

Ayla and Jack though stay behind and fight Grog, with his apprentice Moklo, an Ithorian.  The two have a pretty good fight, but it is Ayla's new fireball technique that defeats the two Sith.  After an argument, Jack kills the Sith Lord Grog, who was left defenseless.  How long can Ayla stand and do nothing with a Sith in her group's midst?  But the two agree to escape for now.  Meeting up Aria (KOed) and Atty, the four run past the HQ (ignoring Jacques) and run into Dissidia, the Sith Lord whose mind was messed up by Jack.  After a bit of dialogue, Dissidias seemingly lets the team leave.  Atty, in anger, shoots her blaster, injuring Dissidias.  Dissidias, surprised, then, unarmed, asks Atty to strike her down.....and she does, killing Dissidas with her lightsaber.  The team, not having time to discuss the event, keeps running to the space port.

Meanwhile Roklo and Lance head to the Scarlet Scorpian....only to see on fire.  They go Roklo's ship, the Starfire, only to find most of the crew dead.  Killing a Sith padawan, the two go back to the engine with the repair droid, but find it is too late.  Rushing to the pilot room, they run into Datrine's deadbody.  At the pilot room, the fight some padawans and Magnus, forcing Magnus to hop his way out of the area.  Realizing the ship is lost and Yassa being injured, both Helena and HK-356 sacrifice themselves to allow Roklo, Lance and Yassa escape.

Everyone meets up at the Starfire, only to find Wilkins, Roklo's mentor, and Mr. Shadow waiting to blast off.  The team, along with 5 NPC pirates, blasts off Bythur, and head towards Haashimut, a Jedi Fortress World.  But what will they encounter there?  No one, not even the GM, knows!

Link: Spaceship Size Chart

http://www.danzelmo.com/SpaceshipSize_ComparisonChart.jpg

Just to let everyone know how sad Star Trek ships are when compared to Star Wars.  Sadly, the chart is in meters, so remember, 1 meter = 3.28 feet.   So a typical Star Destroyer is about 5200 or so feet....or about a mile long.  Somehow, I would have thought of it to be a bit bigger....

Recap: The Sith Camp

Previously, Jon, in the detention hut, after receiving a vision of failure, met with Lady Vissarias, and took he rout; or rather, Darth Revan  partially destroyed her mind.  Revan then took Jon to the Black Mack in astral form, and nearly killed Jon's Bantha just to prove how weak Jon was.  Afterwards, Jon was taken to the Sith House, where he was knocked by a bunch of Sith Lords (Hathar, Jacques, Chaos, Petro, Grog).

Meanwhile, Roklo, a young Etti mercenary, arrives on a small injured mercenary ship to the camp, and with his buddy Wilkins and his mouse robot, goes to the arena to see the special fight of the night.  There, Wilkins runs into his old buddy Lance, and introduces Roklo (nicknamed Rocky).  The three bet on the fight and watch as Atty fights against the Rabbit (human sized) Sith Padawan Wakazor. The fight is done in an arena with its outside edges on lava, as Dath Choas watches.  A tough fight incurs, but Atty is able to win.  Just as she about to fall to the dark side as Darth Choas orders Wakazor's death, Ayla uses the force to push the body into the lava piranhas.  Atty then has a meeting with Aria, a brown skinned spiky alien, who was also an ex-Jedi padawan who wants to escape, and has heard rumors of a Jedi planet.

Jon meanwhile underwent some extensive work, and when awakened for the 2nd time, was naked in the forest without being able to sense Darth Revan.   Panicking, Jon returned to the camp and tried to absorb someone's force foribly....and but was unable to do so by a mysterious presence.  Roklo and Lance, after hanging at the Dark Chipmunk, bought some new droids for themselves (A C3PO unit for Lance and a Repair Droid for Roklo) and thus, a beautiful friendship began.  In addition, sometime during the night, Mr. Shadow and the Agent (codename Asura) arrived and met with Darth Chaos.

In the morning, Atty was taken by Brucbacca, and Brucbacca began personally training Atty, and the two had a talk on the nature of themselves.  John and Ayla went to the Sith classes, where John learned more about who could be doing this to him (Either Grog, Jacques or Petro) and Ayla learned about the Agent.  Roklo was hired to repair some droids for Jacques, who in turn had stolen them from the Supply Depot.  Lance was assigned to find the droids and he did so, much to Jacque's ire.  Lance and Roklo then drank for a while and gambled at the Golden Foot, meeting Helena's the 8 foot Amazonian bodyguard of the Lady Pirate Captain Isabel Yassa.  Helena invited the two for more drinks at midnight or so.  When returning to their ships, Jacques ambushed and force chocked the two, but decided not to kill them......yet.

Ayla meanwhile had a meeting (Jon, renamed Arthur by the Sith at this point was nearby) with Lord Petro, who revealed that there was A) a Jedi Camp on a fortress world B) he's been on it and C) gives the coordinates to her and D) the pirate camp is to be invaded soon.  Petro tried to convince Ayla to learn how to summon her master, and tells her to start forming allies in order to exit the planet soon.

And so, after the drinking at Yassa's the team will have one more day to adjust at the camp...for afterwards, their lives will forever be changed.  At least until the the next crossover sequel occurs and retcons this entire story arc. Also, less lava piranhas and more fighting.

Recipes: Lance's Bantha Stew

For this recipe, you can switch out the meat what you prefer. So it doesn't really need to be Bantha.  But it sure tastes real good!

By Lance

Bantha Stew
Ingredients:
2 pounds Bantha meat, cubed
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup yellow onions, coarsely chopped
1 cup red onions, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 quarts water

20 Gerona peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried Silverleaf (like thyme) leaves
2 cups sliced carrots
2 cups chopped celery
3 Gapanga fruit (like a tomato), peeled and chopped

1 medium habbis-root (like rutabaga), diced
1 medium Blissroot (like a yam), diced
1 large ear sweet corn, kernels removed
Berchest Salt and Gerona pepper

Directions
Brown the meat in a large Dutch oven with the oil and onions. Add 1 quart of water to the pot along with the bouillon and bring to a simmer. Add seasoning and remaining vegetables to the pot and simmer for 45 minutes. Add the remaining 1/2 quart of water and continue simmering for an additional 1 1/2 hours. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.

Recipes: Gorgon's Bantha Steak

Bantha meat is a very good meat. But , don’t forget the special way that you have to prep the Bantha. After the Bantha dies you must cut out its heart and throw it into a lava pool. If no lava pool can be found, you can burn the heart in a fire as well, but you must wait 5 days and make sure there are no traces of the Bantha Heart left.

By Gorgon
Bantha Steak

Ingredients:
4 (8 ounce) Bantha steaks, well-trimmed
1/4 cup Gerona oil

1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons Nerfs butter
1 cup Tatooine Whiskey

Who's Who's Part 2 - Sith Camp

And now, for the updated version, only featuring everyone introduced at the Sith Camp.  Unlike the first part, which while featuring everyone so far does have the side effect of having mostly people no longer in the game currently, this list only contains people that could definitely have some involvement in the next game.

Recap: Enter the Sith Camp

The team, after a brief debate, decided to mostly go with the Sith on their Stealth Ship (no name).....all except for Gorgon and Lt. Farsius.  Farsius created a distraction for Gorgon to place a large bomb in the area, and Gorgon exploded the bomb, allowing the two to begin their escape.  Telos, who was running to catch up, felt betrayed by the Jedi and went with Gorgon.

The Sith Lord Grog Wahil ordered Sith Lord Brucbacca to kill the retreating group, and Atty soon followed to try and stop her father.  Brucbacca caught up to the others and killed Telos, but Atty conned her father into allowing the others to live.  Gorgon and Farsius though, before going back to the Star Destroyer, discovered that Telos had planted a ship destroying bomb in the engine room.  After some panic, Gorgon was able to disable the bomb.  Gorgon, in his last appearance, was made a hero of the Empire, despite his alien status, and would become well-respected, working well with his colleagues the hologram Ulic and the Twi'Lek Lily'Na.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team followed Grog and Brucbacca back to the Sith encampment on the icy tundra/forest world of Bygoth in the outer rim, leaving their ship the Black Mack to Gorgon.  The Sith encampment is surrounded by forest and black wood fences, and the grounds are shared by a Lady Pirate Captain, the two sides having a understanding.  There are about 50-100 Sith at any one time, the same amount in terms of slaves and a couple of hundred of mercenaries and pirates.

The three newly appointed Sith Padawans were forced to give thier lightsabers to Sith Lord Magnus (a humanoid frog) and go into detention huts, where they were given visions; afterwards a Sith Lord Dissidias (a red skinned 6 arm lady alien) then talked with them afterwards; she suffered from a grevious would from Jon, who was taken to an unknown area at this point.  Atty and Ayla were then given a tour of the small area and some time to relax.  Or so they thought.

Atty quickly got herself into a duel with a rabbit looking padawan and fought another padawan in the housing, a rodian female called Quinas.  During this later fight, Sith Lord Hathar, a beautuful human blonde but very cruel duelist, forced Atty to use her lightsaber to kill Quinas....or so she thought.  Atty faked Quina's death and somehow convinced Hathar of this too.  Meanwhile, Ayla got into a little trouble at the local (and only) bar, the Dark Ferret, before another Sith Lord, a Chiss, talked to her before a bit.  After defeating a Mace Windu droid, Ayla met up with Atty, and the two agreed to hire a merc to get Quinas out of here.

The two talked to a Lance, a rugged human, who agreed to talk to another captain leaving; Lance convinced the Captain to take Quinas as cargo.  Lance then was hired by Grog Wahil to go with the team to the Sith Temple, where the two Sith padawans deposited some of their blood at the temple while Lance did some repairs to a defense system, discovering that they were sabotaged.

The session will begin next time with Atty fighting for her life in the area, in a special one-time only time match!  But she also agreed to talk to another Sith Padawan, a Brown Spiky Alien by Aria....Ayla must talk with the Chiss Sith Lord, Petro, the next night........Grog has not forgotten about the supposed link to the Star Destroyer.....and who knows what has happened to John.  The Sith Camp has only begun to pull its victims closer to their path of glory....or their path of death.

Biography: Captain Telos

Captain Jason Telos was born 26 years ago in the Capital of Tweed, and was told by his mother on a daily basis that he would grow up to be one of the greatest generals Naboo has ever known. This isn't usually a big deal in biographies, but the fact that both his mother and father were the rare fortune teller makes an amusing anecdote. Growing up in an poor neighborhood, this did not keep young Telos from developing a Knack with building; he was considered one of the great and promising Lego Builders in his childhood. He was also good at getting other kids in the neighborhood to help; he was the leader of the pack, so to say. His parents often traveled from festival to festival in various cities, leaving Telos behind with various babysitters who really couldn't give a damn about the kid. This allowed Telos to develop an independent mind, and much time to pursue various activities with little impunity. While a poor student at school, this was because Telos was unable to respect authority figures just because he was told, and not because he lacked the intellect. Indeed, on some occasions, Telos would stay at a library, reading on and on about an alien planet that he just heard about in passing.

It was this way then, his keen mind but poor habits, that made his school (Naboo Schools run 10 years of year-round schooling, starting at 6 year old) volunteer him to a Military Preparation Society when Telos was 14, or a year shy of graduating. Telos had already shown the signs of wasted potential, according to the school; he had begun working as a waiter and as an editor to underground sources due to family financial issues.*

*Technically, no one is allowed to work under the age of 16 (except for, of course, the Queen and her understudy and/or Double), but this law is often ignored for kids between 12 and 16.

The Society agreed; it was law that anyone accepted MUST intend. Of course, the law said the kid must agree via a written contract too, but this was sort of forged/ignored by his parents. His parents, seeing this opportunity, send him away aganist his wishes, and so he joined the Military Preparation Society for a long three years. The Society is a very prestigious one, often producing many of Naboo's leaders and generals; both Commander Savaya and bodyguard Tuvok are but two examples. The Society, more like a military funded boot-camp and school, was located in the middle of a Swamp, specifically the Gar Swamp, where large fish supposedly lived and ate people who got too close to the water. The Society, of course, was built on the one piece of solid land in about 25 miles.

Telos, at this point a 15 year old lad of good build in body and mind, was not particularly happy, being forced by his parents via trickery and his school to go. Telos at first was quite the troublemaker at first, getting into arguments with appointed officers and teachers while building absurd contraception that led into trouble, and quickly made himself a name despite the size (4000+) of the school. Telos, thus was a candidate to be kicked out of the school after his first year, an idea that Telos welcomed. He had found his fellow students, mostly from refined families, too arrogant, unfriendly for the most part and often spent most of his days alone after classes in the library to find some solace.  Telos handled himself much better with the average spaceoid, merchant and laypeople of the street.

At this point, at 16, or 10 years ago, Telos would meet his mentor, Commander Savaya. The lady commander took interest in Telos due to the one paper he had bothered to work for the year, the paper where they could pick any topic and write a reasoned discussion on it. The topic, that being on how to improve hyperdrive capability of smaller ships was impressive (and unknown to Telos, implemented eventually). The two had a talk, and Savaya lectured about his strengths and weaknesses and perhaps more importantly, why she was qualified to say such things. Whatever occurred in that conversation changed Telos, and the two have taken a close mentor-student when not in military outfit. Savaya also helped by taking Telos out of the Society, and using her influence to place him at the Officer School of the Military.

Telos proved to be a tremendous student and an inspired choice by Savaya; a equally solid solider, pilot and engineer, Telos became popular with many of the students, most of whom were not from elitist groups but from all parts of society. Telos was a highly ranked student, as challenging teachers at the school was actually encouraged, instead of just being an excuse for punishment. Telos became a Lt. when he graduated from the school six years ago, and was assigned to be a supply base commander for a year in the middle of essentially no where, where he was to increase the base's productivity significantly, so much so that over the next four years he would be asked to do this to many bases, and he succeeded expectations every time. In addition, he would occasionally help the Military's Engineers come with new developments. He also has had some experience leading scouting missions in space as well, though he has only fought previously minor pirates and criminals in the city.

Last year he was promoted to Captain and assigned under Commander Savaya, where he has undertaken more and more unique jobs; many in the palace say Savaya was grooming Telos to be one of the next leaders, teaching him the in and outs of both his and her job. Telos thus has a healthy respect for Savaya and for Naboo, though he still get think outside the box. His position as Captain gave him some soldiers under him, though most were on a mission away from Tweed and thus not around for the recent invasion (it's still earlier this year in game). Telos is a bit quiet at times when Savaya is around, due to his respect for her, and, due to Savaya's advice, quiet while evaluating others.

Telos also has a positive viewpoint of the Naboo resistance, Jedis, and aliens; this is the first time he has left the Naboo system, though his knowledge is solid among them. Telos has always had a negative view of the Republic due to the Republic's failure to help with its conflict with the Trade Federation (see Episode I) and has done research recently into the history of the Sith, leaving him with a negative view. Telos is a well-rounded handsome fellow and is yet intelligent and rational about his way of thinking. He has a promising future; however it is very likely that during this mission it will be cut short....

Biography: Grog Wahil, Sith Lord

Grog Wahil, a Shistavanen (Werewolf looking), was born some 40 odd years ago abroad a pirate ship, where his father and mother both worked at.  They were some of the best scouts any pirate could had at the time and treated well by the Captain; when Grog was three however, his parents went missing on an operation.  Grog was promtly left behind by the pirates on the next planet they raided, informing the child he would fend for himself from now on.  They also informed him that his parents were still alive and waiting for him somewhere in the galaxy.  Being three, Grog actually bought this sack of lies from the pirates.

Grog quickly became a great beggar, thief and overall homeless person for the next several years, surviving on a mid-rim world primary using his excellent wits and through his natural racial abilities.  He also was force-sensitive, although he would be unaware for years to come.  When Grog turned 12, he snuck upon a Republic Warship, and stowed away in the ship to the Outer Rims.  Once in the Outer Rims, Grog began to pick up work as a freelance messenger and scout, like his parents, serving his role well but not really remarkable again for years.  During this time however, he ran into an old member of the pirate crew, who told him the truth: that his parents had always been hated and been killed by other jealous scouts who wished the captain paid them well.  The Captain, not wishing a mutiny, agreed with the plan.  After killing the informant, Grog swore to kill all the pirates on that ship.

There were two problems for Grog however: one, he didn't know all of them, or how to get a list of who was on the list; this was rectified after doing a few jobs for Zorba the Hutt.  The 2nd issue was that Grog was a terrible shooter.  He couldn't kill someone via a blaster if his life depended on it; only his agility, claws, and fangs allowed to get by fights so far.  This was rectified when on a mission that invovled mining some illegal jedi crystals; a Jedi arrived and killed most of the criminals; the Jedi died of his wounds on Dantootine however.  Grog killed the remaining criminals, and stole the Jedi's lightsaber.  Discovering some nearby ruins of an old Jedi temple, he found some old books on the way of the Jedi and begin to self-teach himself the ways of the Jedi.  Surviving on the few wandering womp rats, banthas and other creatures via hunting, Grog trained for years, until becoming a well, in theory mostly, trained Jedi.  Now he could have his revenge.

The Revenge of Grog took several years; Grog made it a habit of leaving an old Shastavanian symbol on his victims as an identifier.  The Pirates took various methods to hide and run but no matter what they did they could run or hide. Some hid on prison planets; other hired armies; still others became elected officials or soldiers during the Clone Wars.  It simply did not matter.  Grog, after some initial difficulties, was a solid fighter with the lightsaber and killed the 108 crew members.  All but the Captain was left.

3 years ago, the Pirate Captain, deadly aware of what was happening, hid himself as a slave to a powerful warlord on a far-off arctic planet in a midst of a deadly civil war that would eventually leaves almost all of its inhabitants either dead, enslaved, or exiled (if lucky).  Amazingly, Grog was captured after soon landing due to the old hire super hot sexy chick to poison your drink at the local bar where you really shouldn't be trick.  The warlord told Grog that he had the Pirate Captain captured, and would only give him to Grog if he killed the other Warlords; Grog agreed, and along with some other allies, defeated the remaining armies.  These armies stood no chance aganist Grog and his compatriots.  After completing his mission, the Warlord allowed Grog his revenge and Grog eagerly complied with his most inner wishes.

Like many a tale though, once the ending has occurred, the next question is, what happens in the next tale?  Grog, like many a revenge oriented foe, did not know, so he accepted the Warlord's offer to be a Sith Lord.  Grog now focuses mainly on training himself when not on a mission, which is often, trying to avoid the various teaching duties that are in the Sith encampment.  Grog does not talk to many of the Sith Camp, mainly only to those he worked with in the war 2 years past.  Grog is considered to be an overall well-rounded Sith, one of the more powerful ones, and his racial traits aid him in his many missions.  Grog can be called cold-hearted and vicious, but he would reply that he was in the right in his missions and that the Code of the Sith proves it.  It is recommended that you do not test his faith in the Code.

Recap: The Entire First Half

Oh crap.  The mother of all Recaps is here in all its twisted glory....and it begins now!
(Note: This is a highly abbreviated version.  For each dot, there is an actual longer recap that actually explains what the bloody happened)

Right after these commercial breaks of course......
