Recap: Mos Eisley

You know if Obi-Wan says a place is trouble, then it's trouble.  And yet Commander Savaya seemed to not care...

After escaping from Rodia, the team has a series of meetings; Gorgon is finally able to fix Ulic Qel Droma, but Ulic states that he needs time to adjust to his new purpose and existence.  Pop-Pop and Hakim have become quick friends as well.  The team discussed what happened to them after Rodia, and then Savaya told the team of her plans: she has found that the Queen crashed into Tatooine, and wants to rescue her.  After rescuing the queen, it is Savaya's intention to head to Aldaran, a known anti-Palpatine planet for a month to start a new resistance, a front against the tyranny of the Emperor, to restore the Queen and do all that is right.  Atty, after questioning the plan, agreed, and Gorgon looked forward to the business deals.  Ayla, after talking further with Telos, agrees to the plan for now, wanting to see how Savaya conducts her business.

The team lads at Mos Easley, and after Gorgon bribes the officials, goes, with Savaya, to the iconic Cantina, where apperently the GM was too lazy to add anything new to the Cantina.  A Mr. Shadow, a human wrappe din shadowry robes, told the team that in Bestine, the capital of Tatooine, the Imperial Commander, Barose, had already captured the Queen from her vessel.  Barose though, being a simple way out far commander, does not realize the prey he has...yet.  Barose, in addition, has about 100 or so men (50 storm troopers) in the city, with more to come.  Mr. Shadow and Savaya suggests using the local powerful crime lord's assistance, Jabba the Hutt, to aid them in the rescue attempt.  As the team is about to leave, a small crime boss of the city, Lady Valerian, a Whipsud (sp) enters with her crew: Chewak, a Wookie; Sam the Rodian; Billy and Willy, humans; and a Gamorrean (yeah I forget his name).  T

Mr. Shadow accidentally walks into Valerian, and is rewarded by being pushed into the bar, and then having a grenade thrown on top of his body by Billy.  Billy then, tossing a grenade in his hands, suggested the team pay tribute and leave.  Atty replied by grabbing the grenade out of the air, grabbing Billy and throwing him into the bar, knocking him out; she then, as part of a plan, pledged loyalty to Lady Valerian.  Lady Valerian agreed to take her in, and had Willy blow up his brother Billy.  The group, after Atty inadvertently failed in her questioning, went back to its headquarters, an innocent looking gym, and the teamed followed suit.

Inside the base, Atty had to resist the temptation of Chewak and did so after many amusing poor puns.  Ayla, who came sneaking in, aided Atty in escaping; the two combined to defeat the Gamorrean, the Rodian and the other human, along with a couple of other guards and managed to acquire a substantial armory of rifles, ammo and grenades.  Savaya and Gorgon, meanwhile, were able to blow an additional armory and create rain inside the building, making many of the men retreat to another bar; the rest were taken out.  Lady Valerion in additional was killed in combat, and Savaya suggests using it as a tribute, even getting a taxodermist (where you find one in Tatooine is another mystery) for the head.

In addition, Ayla was bale to find an old, force sensitive Mandalorian guarding a couple of republic solders.  Ayla convinced him easily to join up with the team, and after taking his retirement funds, joined the team. (his name will be the next recap).  Now, with the shopping and EXP complete, the team heads to the Jabba the Hutt's palace...
